you guys arent gonna hike up prices because it's locally owned, are you? i love screwattack, but im sorry, i am NOT gonna pay 80$ per game. i dont think many people will buy from there (other than die-hard G1s with lotsa cash) ifyou guys hiked up prices. other than that, W00T i cant wait.
I'm no expert on pricing in America but I think that's illegal to do. When I first came here, the prices were really reasonable. I first went there and got Batman for the NES for just $2! Two bucks for a gem on the NES, I've never heard of a better deal for that. Browsing through the store, they got some great used deals while keeping standard prices for the new stuff. I wouldn't worry about $80 just because it's an independent store.
I heard they are even more expensive there than here, in finland! I hope we can get some cheap stuff from "Gameattack"! I hope that ending starts a new "nametags"!

I live in Iceland. Country is bankrupt because of crooked polititians and stupid materialistic people who take huge ass loans without a way to pay back.
Game prices here are ridicules! The Icelandic currency is also so weak that if I were to order online it would be even more expensive. Some online stores don't even accept my credit card because Iceland isn't "trusted" anymore.

I use gamezone myself, they sell console games for about 550 kr + shipping(10-20k), which is a pretty sweet deal, especially seeing as they tend to pre-ship games if you pre-order them. Got Killzone 2 two days early and Infamous a whole four days early.

I agree man, Australians are kinda getting ripped off but its price is all based on the US dollar I reckon. If its cheap over there its bound to be at least half as more expensive here.

yeah...game prices are pretty much regulated by the companies that make them. Sure games can be put on sale, be a bit lower (walmart for example), clearenced out, etc etc....but price gouging is a big no-no.

Most independent gaming stores are way cheaper than the big-name ones... I went to GameDeals (yah, the same GameDeals) today and they have new games like Red Faction for only $55 as opposed to the $70 everywhere else up here is charging.

dude in hong kong game are about sell 280-400$HKD and 1USD=7.7HKD so i think it should be more cheap in you guys gameshops
and by the way the game in HK are mixed a lot some are NTCJ some are NTSC and even PAL so i think it had something to do with the price for the games
