The greatness of Gamma Prime is at it again this time delivering the goods for all us Mac users. If you're looking for a free, creative, old-school style game definitely click the pictures and download Draw Fire PLUS. What's your best score? Mine's a billion.
If you remember a couple weeks ago I pursued the Mavericks PA position. Unfortunately, even with your incredibly participation, I was not given an audition in person so I could kick the crap out of the rest of the people auditioning. g1 bahamutchocobo3 had the chance to catch up with Mavs owner Mark Cuban up at a local university to ask about it. His reaction was priceless. Thank you so much for your active participation g1s! You guys are incredible!
This week's Submission comes from a pair called "Two Asian Guys" as they take the greatness of Super Mario Bros and make it even more old school by stop motioning the Mushroom Kingdom... with pencil and paper. It's amazing to think about how much work went into this video. Good stuff.
I'm convinced that no other community on the internet is as great as you are. While we put together events like Ghouls and Games, Game Days and SGC for you, some of you go above and beyond and hold your own events online - like Halo 3 parties. There's a few reasons for featuring this video but mostly to show off what a great time you're missing out on by not being a part of it! Just watch a few minutes and see how much fun they are having. It makes me so proud!
This week's g1 Submissions comes from xxAwpxx as he brings us everyone's favorite Street Fighter bad guy, M. Bison ranting on things that piss him off. We never thought we would hear Bison say these things...
What is this? A... PC game? This week's g1 Submission comes from g1 quixote as he brings us a look back at a quirky game based around a dead travel agent. Sound like anything you've ever played before? Then you probably haven't played Grim Fandango.
Did any of you ever watch that piss-awful Sonic anime movie? You know, the one where Tails sounds like he's got a bad cold and Knuckles is a pervert? Yeah... based on this trailer alone, I'm willing to bet g1 "a knothole resident's" fan-made Sonic film is going to be a hundred times better! From one Sonic fan to another... way past cool job, dude!
A new submitted this week at g1 Rinry joins the fray to give us a run down of the best ways to get your old school NES games back and working again. Good stuff Rinry! Look forward to seeing more from you.
If you've seen episode one and episode two of Rockumentary then you know the antics behind the Led Giants. While they may seem like a great team, what will happen when one must go?
Although he didn't win the myvidsdontsuck contest, Sam T definitely has a home here on ScrewAttack and you can bet to see his work when v4 rolls around. Anyways, Taco-Man is back and he's playing one of the most valuable games on the Jaguar. JOIN US!
Our good buddies at Gamma Prime have put together another game for the g1s to go crazy on. This time it's only available for PC users. Draw Fire has you drawing four shapes with points. The shapes will improve your firepower against endless enemies. It's your turn to rack up the greatest score in marathon, two-minute and five-minute modes. Download it and then post your scores below.
Now this takes some damn skill. g1 NuclearPinguin has put together a sweet trailer for a Fallout 3 flick by using clips from other movies. If a real Fallout movie came out we could only help it looked this rad. Nice job NuclearPinguin.
Getting featured on g1 Submission Sunday is not only about creating good content but also timeliness. This week g1 Dante El Diablo has put together a sweet little vid on how to get the achievements in one of the hottest games out right now and one of our favorites - Marvel vs Capcom 2. Nice walkthrough!
Annnnnnd I'm back. While I was out getting hitched and stuff g1 Jet Fire put together one of the most impressive blogs in a long time here on ScrewAttack - his Top 100 games of all time. He put so much time and effort into this list I had to feature it as soon as I could. Huge blocks of text? Yep. Will it take a forever to read? Absolutely. But it's a very good read and who said a little reading wouldn't hurt you. Definitely check it out and and see if you agree with what Jet Fire has to say.
Think of this as an appetizer for later today when The Game OverThinker officially debuts on ScrewAttack since winning the myvidsdontsuck contest.
This week's submission comes from g1 PeanutButterGamer, who is here to tell you exactly what is required to separate the "real" gamers from the lazy noobs.
What do you think? Sarcastically or seriously, what is required of a "real" gamer?
Sam T is still dishing out more "Taco-Man: The Game Master" goodness, and here is the third episode! You may remember Taco-Man from the epic MyVidsDontSuck contest. In this episode, our beefy hero takes on an intense task for the one and only Pac-Man!
Well they may not have won the MyVidsDontSuck contest, but they were darn close when pitted against the Game Overthinker. Anyway, it looks like they went ahead and did a second episode of the show, so everybody wins! Find out what happens in this touching episode about a man, his hobo, and a group of friends learning life lessons.
What would happen if things in video games actually happened in real life? That is the question asked by g1 Brian in his new series that he describes as "well, pretty stupid, but hopefully funny nonetheless." Way to have high standards Brian! Nonetheless, it's quick, easy to watch and definitely original. We dig that for sure.
Little Big Planet is one of our favorite games on the PS3, and by the looks of things, g1 the-sanguine agrees. He went and made an entire level in Little Big Planet based on some of the features at ScrewAttack. I admit I really enjoyed seeing his creation and wanted to share it with all of you.
As we get ready for a week of SGC videos, we figured we would start off with one from the g1's. The guys over at R5 made an awesome montage of everyone from SGC doing what they did all weekend. Having a blast. It's very true what it says at the end. If you weren't there, you really did miss one hell of a thing.
